Mengruolan Apparel recorded huge success at the trade show of the brand under the name of Premier Vision in Paris
Where its environmentally friendly fabric collection drew the attention of many international buyers. The expo also attracted an international audience that was continuously arriving at the stand of Dreamland Apparel. The person managing the booth, Lucas, testified that 15 qualified buyers from 5 countries visited the booth during the three-day period. We had two groups of customers who were engaged in negotiations concurrently when the traffic was at its peak.
The trade show autumn/winter collection made of GRS-certified recycled fabrics was the most outstanding exhibit. Giovanni, an Italian purchaser, checked out a black coat that had seams and commented Good quality fabric. How can you stop recycled polyester from pilling? The technical director described a unique spinning method, and based on this information, the company was awarded a trial order of 500 units.
On the following day of the exhibition, there was some excitement when the Maison EÉtoile design director, a French brand, spent 20 minutes at the booth, looking at three trench coats in detail. He praised the sewing, informing that the park implemented a "solid standard" of 14 stitches per inch. He further mentioned that most suppliers reduce the quality of this area but the park had done it perfectly. This meticulous approach eventually led to a long-term contract of cooperation.
A buyer from London, named Sarah, was interested in the plant-dyed series, but she asked a practical question: Can the color fastness achieve industrial washing standards? The team was immediate to present third-party testing reports and wash test samples. Sarah purchased samples in a batch to test further: If the data is comparable, we can take this dyeing technique to our complete spring/summer collection the following year.
The event was most telling as far as the order quantity was concerned, but even more so because it indicated that what we produce is comparable to European market standards. The team also managed to get specific needs of five prospective.
Clients during the show. Chinese tea and snacks served on the stand turned out to be an unusual way of communication. It was over a piece of osmanthus cake that a Danish buyer started a 20-minute discussion on the application of the oriental design elements, which eventually led to the creation of an initial idea of cross-industry cooperation.
Before the stall was pulled down, a Spanish fabric supplier approached them to trade contacts: "I saw many buyers who spent much time at your stall, which means that your products are actually appealing. We have a number of new fabrics on which we would be able to collaborate." As they walked out of the exhibition hall, the team had notebooks with the full notes and contact information.
