Two dedicated lines have officially commenced production

We are pleased to announce that Dreamland Garment has completed the expansion of our evening maxi dress production line. Two new dedicated lines are now in full operation. One focuses on heavy evening dress metal zipper installation on thick fabrics. The other handles structured bodice and corsetry work for formal gowns.

Addition of Equipment and Personnel Allocation

The new lines are equipped with JUKI DDL-9000C lockstitch machines and specialized corset boning channel equipment. We added 18 machines in total. The heavy zipper line is led by three technicians with over eight years of evening wear experience. They specialize in concealed invisible zipper dress assembly handling size #8 and #10 metal zippers on satin, velvet, and other heavy fabrics with seamless integration.

Corsetry line added five dedicated machines. Steel, plastic, soft boning — all covered. Sizes 32A to 42E.

Monthly capacity now hits 4,500 pieces. That’s 60% up from before.

Every technician on this line did a two-week specialized training program before starting production.

Actual impact on buyer orders

For buyers developing fall and winter collections, this means complex structured evening gowns no longer need to be outsourced. The full order can be completed in-house at Dreamland. Lead time drops from 45 days to 30 days. Corsetry and zipper installation, the two most error-prone stages, are now handled by dedicated staff on dedicated machines. We have strengthened our structured evening gown construction capabilities internally, and the rework rate is expected to stay below 2%.

Q3 Acceptable Order Types and Submission Requirements

Q3 production slots are now open. We can accept orders for structured evening maxi dresses, heavy lace embroidery gowns, and formal occasion dresses requiring concealed metal zippers. For lace embroidery dress backing fabric composite work, we can now complete face fabric, lining, and boning in a single synchronized sewing pass on the same line.

Minimum order quantity is 80 pieces. Sampling lead time is 7 to 10 days. Buyers with design sketches or a Tech Pack can submit an inquiry directly. We will provide a preliminary assessment within 48 hours.

After this expansion, Dreamland offers three direct supports to buyers. First, complete in-house production for evening maxi dresses from cutting to finished garment, with no outsourcing. Second, corset structure can be adjusted based on buyer-provided patterns or by our pattern makers using size charts. Third, pre-production sample confirmation is available during the sampling stage, ensuring zipper placement and bodice structure are locked before bulk production begins.
