Product Details
Unlike a basic fitted knit dress, MRL-227 is assembled with separate horizontal bands running across the bodice and skirt. These panels create the defined surface lines seen from the front and back while allowing the dress to follow the bodycon shape.
The bust is formed with shaped cup seams and supported by adjustable shoulder straps. This structured cup bodycon dress has a straight covered back, a center-back zipper and a back vent that provides room for movement without changing the clean front silhouette.
Bandage Panel Construction
For this polyester elastane bandage dress, the panel width and placement need to remain balanced from the bust through the waist and hips. During sample development, we focus on panel alignment, cup symmetry and the way the horizontal lines meet at the side seams.
The center-back zipper is inserted through the panelled body rather than added to a plain back section. Its opening must remain smooth, and the back vent is positioned below it to support the fitted midi length.
