Pocket Checks During Sewing
The zipper is the part worth watching on these zip pocket trousers. During development, we make sure the opening sits flat and the slider glides without snagging the fabric or the pocket bag.
Once sewing is underway, we check the pocket ends and zipper stitching before the trousers ever reach final inspection. Back pockets get compared for height and spacing too — on a plain fabric like this, uneven placement shows up straight away.
Measurements matter just as much on the sample. We check the waist, hip, rise and leg length against your spec, and the agreed tolerances are written down so inspection follows the same standard.
Choosing the Production Fabric
With polyester viscose pants, changing the fabric can shift the fit even if the composition looks nearly identical. We can source alternatives, no problem — but we'd suggest sampling in the exact material you intend to use, so you can judge the waistband and leg shape properly.
Customize These Stretch Pants
Fabric and colour: You can ask us for the available shades, or send over a swatch and we'll source to match. Weight, thickness and stretch are things we go through together when picking the colour — and we confirm supplier minimums before you settle on one.
Zippers: Pick the zipper type, puller and finish, or send us your nominated trim if you have a preferred supplier. We test the zipper on the sample first before ordering it in bulk.
Labels: Main labels, care labels and hangtags — just send us your artwork and placement instructions, and we'll follow them.
Packing: Individual bags, size stickers, carton markings — all of this can be built into the quotation.
Final Checks Before Packing
MRL Apparel’s private label trouser production includes fabric inspection, checks during sewing and a review after pressing. On this style, the lower-leg seams and hems are checked for puckering, while pocket openings and stitching are compared with the approved sample.
Before anything gets packed, we check each piece for marks, loose threads and mismatched legs. You're also free to arrange an inspection before shipment, either by your team or a third party — just share your requirements when confirming the order.
Our quotation covers quantities per colour and size, the selected fabric, zipper specification and packing details.
Yes. Send the brand, model or a reference trim. We will check availability and the supplier’s minimum quantity before including it in the sample and quotation.
For small orders we ask 50% deposit, with the balance before shipment. Bigger orders work on 40/60 — 40% upfront, 60% before shipping. Either way, the exact terms are written into your quotation and order agreement, so there are no surprises later.
Pretty much whatever fits the order — courier, air or sea. For courier we use DHL, FedEx or UPS. The shipping quote depends on where it's going, plus the packed weight and volume, so send us the delivery address and we'll price it out.
