Agreeing on the First Order
For repeat orders, the first sample needs to settle more than measurements. Fabric weight, lining length and elastic firmness affect the finished pair, even when the outer design stays the same.
Our sample room develops the trousers using the proposed outer fabric and lining together. You can assess the white fabric’s coverage, the feel of the two layers and whether the lining moves freely inside the legs before approving production.
For these elastic waist wide leg trousers, we agree on both the relaxed waist and the opening when stretched. That gives the sewing team an elastic specification rather than leaving the waistband tension to guesswork.
The approved sample and specifications give us the reference for production. Later changes to the fabric, lining or elastic need discussing against that reference, including their effect on price and timing.

With a repeat order, the first thing we check is whether the fabric is still available. We can try to get the same material as last time, or talk through an alternative — but similar composition doesn't guarantee the same result, so we never assume.
Linen viscose trousers are a two-fabric job. The outer cloth and the cotton lining have to be reviewed together — change the lining half a shade and the whole pair looks wrong.
Already thinking about adding colours down the road? Mention it when we discuss the first order. We'll check the supplier's shades and minimums then, so you have the numbers in hand when you plan the next delivery.
Your Labels and Packing
Brand labels can use your artwork, with the main label and care label positions agreed on the sample.
Hangtags and size stickers can follow your product codes, helping your receiving team identify the cartons and individual garments.
Individual bags and carton markings can match your packing instructions. Include any folding or assortment requirements before the quotation is finalised.
Inspection, Delivery and Order Follow-Up
MRL Apparel runs bulk trouser manufacturing with our own production teams, and we check at two points — during sewing and again before packing. Prefer to inspect the goods yourself? Your team or a third-party inspector is welcome to come in before shipment.
If the order needs more than one delivery date, we sit down first and work out the quantities and material schedule before production is confirmed. That way we know early which garments can ship together and which need separate ones.
If something shows up that isn't right, shoot us the order number, roughly how many pieces, and a couple of photos. We'll grab the sample and the records, have a look at what happened, and take it from there.
