MRL-208 has a fitted, sleeveless body with one covered shoulder and an open opposite shoulder. The stripe direction follows the asymmetric neckline and continues into the long tie at the left waist.
This asymmetric side-tie women’s top is made from 100% polyester fabric at 160 g/m². The fabric weight provides enough body for the fitted shape while allowing the tie to drape without becoming bulky.
The neckline balance is important on this style because an incorrect shoulder angle can cause the exposed side to lift or the covered side to pull. During sample development, we check the neckline position, armhole shape and shoulder tension against the buyer’s measurement chart.
Stripe placement also needs to be controlled before bulk cutting. Our team checks the stripe direction across the front, back and tie panels so that the finished garment follows the approved reference rather than changing noticeably between production batches.
High-density flatlock stitching is used according to the existing specification, together with a pre-shrinking process. Seam appearance, tie attachment and neckline recovery are checked during sampling and again during production.

Factory and Fabric Sourcing
MRL Apparel works directly with more than 20 established fabric suppliers and manages sampling and garment production through its own workshop. Direct sourcing gives our team faster access to suitable fabrics and clearer control over shade, weight and availability.
Incoming fabric is checked against the approved sample for composition information, weight, colour and visible defects before cutting. Where colourfastness, shrinkage or other performance testing is required, please provide the target standard so the appropriate test can be arranged and quoted.
Our small-batch private label top production starts from 50 pieces, while the same approved pattern and construction details can be retained for later repeat orders. This helps buyers test a style first and reorder without rebuilding the sample from the beginning.
Certification requirements should be discussed before material confirmation. Certified fabrics can be sourced on request, subject to supplier documentation, availability and the buyer’s target market.
