Body's straight and relaxed, no waist seam. Wide neckline sits off the shoulders. Elastic holds it where it should be. Width gets tweaked during sampling if needed.
Ecru fabric, 100% cotton, 135 gsm. Vertical crinkles and openwork stripes run through it. We check grain and stripe layout before laying out pattern pieces — can't just cut anywhere.
This textured cotton off-shoulder blouse has full long sleeves with controlled volume at the wrist. The front and back remain visually simple, making neckline balance, sleeve symmetry and texture direction the main construction points.
Neckline and Size Grading
Neckline elastic is tested against the approved opening measurement rather than selected by appearance alone. Elastic length, insertion tension and recovery affect whether the neckline stays in position without becoming too tight.
For a long-sleeve off-shoulder top, the neckline cannot be graded only by increasing the bust measurement. Each size needs its own neckline opening and elastic length, and plus sizes require a separate review of shoulder width, sleeve volume and recovery.
Texture Alignment and Sleeve Control
The vertical texture is checked before cutting. Left and right sleeves follow the same fabric direction, and visible stripe placement is compared so one sleeve does not twist or look different from the other.
Pleat distribution and sleeve volume follow the approved sample. Reinforcement is added where the neckline elastic casing and sleeve seams receive repeated tension, while lockstitch construction is used where suitable for the approved fabric and seam position.

If delivered goods do not match the approved sample or confirmed specification, the buyer should send photos, video and the affected quantity. MRL Apparel verifies the issue and agrees on rework, replacement or refund according to the confirmed case.
